Blemished G2 Pony 6-Gauge Instrument Bezel for '65 and '66 Mustangs
These have minor cosmetic blemishes but are otherwise absolutely 100% functional
These are a perfect fit for the super cost-conscience Mustang owner who is looking for a great deal on a 6 gauge instrument bezel.
In the past, we've always just destroyed these during production, until someone happened to ask if we would sell him one as he had no plans on having it chromed.
The customer explained he was going to have an auto body company finish it off and paint it to contrast this dash color. Apparently this is not as uncommon as we assumed.
Blemished Condition:
Although not suitable for chroming, the minor blemishes could be filled and ready for a high quality epoxy primer/finish by any able painter.
We even had one customer tell us they planned on hydro-dipping our bezel so it looked like carbon-fiber (also planned on doing the glove box to match).
The possibilities are limited only to one's imagination. Camo hydro-dipping maybe for you 4x4 Mustang owners (LOL).
Please Note:
Luckily, we do not have a large stock of blemished bezels. However, every now and then we get one trying to sneak through. Pay attention to the quantity when adding to the shopping cart (it will tell you if they are in stock or not).
Although you can order and then we'll send you the next one if we are currently out of stock, those who wish a refund because they didn't notice the stock level will be charged the PayPal seller's fees related to refunds.
